Yoga posture of the week: Prasarita padottanasana

Prasarita Padottanasana is one of the most relaxing yoga flexion posture.

Prasarita means "separated", Pada "foot". Prasarita Padottanasana - Separate standing forceps, it is a pose where the arch of the foot is raised and the blood flow to the chest increases.

To perform this pose you can follow the following steps.

  • Start standing in “Tadasana”. Breathe normally to separate the feet more than one meter. Raise your arms above your head.
  • Lean forward slowly from the hips with your back straight and facing forward. Lower your head further, relaxing the neck, until you reach the ground.
